One-to-one breath & mindfulness coaching

I offer one-to-one coaching to help you reclaim and relearn your own natural breath, with simple tools to regulate your nervous system and improve your wellbeing.

To learn more about breath coaching, take a read of this page. Then go ahead and reach out to me by email to ask any questions you may have, and to book a free call to see if my work feels right for you: beth@bethmaiden.com.

If we both feel the “yes”, we’ll find a suitable weekly slot, and go from there. I recommend starting with a course of four weekly sessions, so that you are guided and held in regular practice, and can experience the benefits that build over time. After this, we’ll check in to see where you’d like to go next.

Cost: £60 / £45 / £30 per session, dependent on your position.

Sessions last 50-60 minutes. Your first session may be a little longer (60-75 minutes).

What to expect

Sessions are held online, so you are in the comfort of your own home. I’ll send over my recommendations to help you set up a cosy, safe space for your practice. Sessions are very relaxed, mostly done seated, with the option to lie down, stand, or move where appropriate. I recommend wearing comfy, non-restrictive clothing, and particularly a loose/elastic waistband.

In your first session, we’ll talk about what’s bringing you to breathwork. We’ll dig in to your ‘body story’ (as far as feels safe) and current themes in your life, discuss your physical and emotional health, and I’ll offer a simple, non-invasive assessment of your current breathing patterns.

From here, we’ll establish your main goals for our work together, based on what would be most supportive to you right now. I will offer breath and movement tools, which we will try out together.

Between sessions you’ll have a personal daily practice, and the option to join a regular group practice. At each session, we’ll talk about what is emerging for you, what’s helping, and any areas where you need more or different support.

There will likely be some diaphragmatic training; exercises aimed at increasing tone and awareness in and around this core breathing muscle. These exercises are very relaxed, again done lying down or seated. Nothing here is about hard work!
