I’m a 30-something writer, tarot reader, artist, and perpetual explorer of the space between thought, feeling, and action.
I believe that spirituality and ritual are for everybody. I’m about the journey, in all of its messy, non-linear, chaotic iterations. I am excited by anticapitalist business and living with my whole entire self present. I use tarot cards to bring forth hidden truth, and art ritual to affirm my commitment, over and over, to my ever-shifting path.
As a human-in-progress, my life has spiralled through many iterations over the years. Throughout all of it, tarot reading has been a source of both grounding and transcendence. From time to time, I offer tarot readings as a service to others.
I blog about anticapitalist business and personal spiritual practice in The Garden, and I lovingly send out a sometimes-monthly, sometimes-occasional newsletter, Bits & Bobs, a jumble of personal angst, inspiration, spiritual tools, and a healthy dose of hard-left politics.
I’m the owner of the Little Red Tarot Shop, where I curate a treasure-trove of indie tarot and oracle decks and learning resources for feminist witches.
And I’m the founder of Little Red Tarot, a hub for alternative voices on tarot, spirituality, witchcraft, ritual, self-development and more (2011-2018).
I’m queer, cis, white, middle-class, and use she/her pronouns. I am continually working to unpack the intersecting oppressions and privileges bound up in my identities, and to decolonise my work and spiritual practice.
I’m blissfully partnered with the wonderful Em, and am learning to accept that I’m a massive homebody at heart. I’ve spent much of my life battling the expectations of my overthinking Aquarius sun, and am relaxing into the steady support of my Capricorn moon.
I live in Machynlleth, a tiny market town at the head of a moody estuary in lush green Mid Wales. My favourite places are on the beach or in the woods. I’m a committed dedicant of 35mm film, and a lover of indigenous herbs, fresh bread and expensive stationary. Autumn is my new year.
Hop on the Bits & Bobs List!
My friendly, monthly-ish newsletter is my personal connection to friends and followers.
